My Latin Quarter Art Print of Nice France is inspired by the travels that I  have taken to Magical Places across the globe.  “Latin Quarter Waiters”  The Latin Quarter is teaming with the history and the energy of Paris! Quaint little cafes line small cobbled streets along the lanes with charming boutiques and galleries. Night lights are like fireflies sparkling as far as the eye can see as you sip on your wine in architecture that is steeped in history. An experience of Colorful Magic. These paintings and fine art prints are the Inspiration for The Architectural Whimsy Collection which is a colorful, vibrant and playful series.

I was visiting the quaint village of St. Paul de Vence in the south of France after teaching a workshop, and as I was walking down the stone staircase, I looked out over the village and noticed that they were leaning or tilting with age.  I was inspired to paint them as they were and sold the works immediately.  The rest is history.  This collection is now much more about my feelings of magic visiting these charming places in the quiet corners of Italy and France rather than what I actually saw.  They sway and sing, talk and dance in their whimsical contortions.

As I developed this series it came to my attention that everyone has that special attachment to their memories, from their travels,  of these magical places. I love my favorite pieces hanging in my kitchen and living room.  Every time I pass them, it reminds me of that special moment from travels to a magical place.
