My mother has always inspired me. She reminded me everyday that life is a gift and that I could do and think anything I put my mind to. I chose to bring her to Mexico to live with me in her final stages of dementia. She would wake in the morning with a smile on her face, and always, a little song. We sip our coffee gazing out at the jungle expanse and she leaned over and whispered to me, “They are out there you know”…”What is it, Mom?” I asked. She explains, “You know, The Jungle Spirits.” I believe her, she inspires me, and I try to do her reality justice with my Jungle Spirits, a part of the “Jungle Magic Collection”.
