Floral Bouquet, We all know that one of the most loved type of painting is a flower painting. This bouquet helps you understand the importance of how light falls on an object. It is not about how perfectly you can depict a flower but how lovely a flower can look through color and light. It is the impression of a bouquet and not the perfect details.
Eggplant Delight, Another one of painters favorite subjects is still lifes. I love doing them from an unusual perspective. Most still lifes are viewing it as if you were seeing it from the side. I have chosen an overhead view time after time for my still lifes as it is always such an interesting view. It is the way we almost always see things we eat, as we stand over the table. This is a wonderful study of composition which I go into in depth in the bonus videos you receive when you order a full suite of 4 courses.

This approach to painting portraits is set up to help you understand the elements of cool colors and warm colors on the skin. There are so many different combinations of complimentary colors that can be used on the skin, and you begin to understand, after many portraits, which combinations work best to create certain moods in an expression.
