Spirit Takes Flight – Guadalupe Church is an original painting from my Architectural Whimsy – Latin America Collection, inspired by the emotional energy of travel and the way certain places linger in the heart long after you leave them.

This piece captures the iconic Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, rising gracefully against a luminous sky. Birds circle the towers in effortless motion, symbolizing freedom, spirit, and the unseen energy that makes a destination unforgettable. The architecture is intentionally reimagined through my Architectural Whimsy style—less about rigid accuracy and more about how the place feels.

When I visited this location, I was struck by a sense of elevation—spiritual, emotional, and creative. That feeling is embedded in every brushstroke. My intention is that when this artwork lives in your space, it continues to radiate that same sense of lightness, movement, and quiet joy each time you pass by it.
