Included in your Cinque Terre workshop is a ferry ride on the Poet’s Bay to Cinque Terre Villages, and a photo session walkabout in old town Lerici.

Join award winning artist Kathleen Carrillo for this magical Luxury painting Retreat in an Italy experience on the Italian Riviera. Learn to paint vibrant painterly canvases in a no nonsense painting style with lively brush work, bold color and multi media that will encourage your creative juices and excel your skill levels. Spend the week with like minded artists, finish two paintings and have an unforgettable experience in the natural beauty of this amazing region. Spend each morning sharing an amazing full breakfast at our hotel. After a delicious breakfast we will start our day painting in our outdoor studio. Our excursions, one walkabout and one special excursion with me, will follow your studio painting sessions, where we will find a charming place to lunch and take in the amazing sites of the region. You will have time on your own in the afternoons to explore the region and the evening to explore different dinner options.
Be reminded that there are only a limited amount of accommodations. There will be three deposits required. Your final deposit is due 90 days prior to your excursion. Be sure to consider getting TRIP INSURANCE as your FIRST DEPOSIT is non refundable as of December 31, 2025. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO GET CANCELLATION INSURANCE FOR FIRST DEPOSIT DUE.

Kathleen is your group facilitator, your painting instructor, a university professor of fine art, teaching painting, drawing, journaling and more. She loves sharing her time, her knowledge of the arts, her art workshops in France, Italy, Mexico and US, and the joy of the human spirit. She is intimately familiar with this region and returns year after year to share her love of Italy and France.
