An Art Studio Supports Creativity in every way if it is set up properly.  It does not matter if it is in a spare room, or in a New York Loft Apartment with thousands of square feet.  It needs to support your ability to create without distractions. I don’t know about you, but if my studio doesn’t surround me with good vibes, it is hard for me to create great work.  It can be as messy as can be, (hopefully not), and that does not bother me as much as not having the feng shui of the space set up to support my creativity.

I love an outdoor studio whenever I it is possible.  My studio in Mexico is attached to my gallery and has an outdoor element.  There are two of them in my home in the Carlsbad Village.

Carlsbad Studio Has Moved From State Street to Buena Vista Circle in the Village

I  have moved from State Street and now have this lovely outdoor space to teach classes.  It  is open air for safe distancing.  It is surrounded by beautiful nature and beautiful filtered light.  I also love creating little seating niches where people can relax and have a cup of tea that supports comfort and a sense of calm in the midst of the swirling energy of creativity!  Just love that.  When people come over to visit me in the studio, they always say to me, “what is it about this space  that makes me want to just hang out here”!  I love that about my studios!
