With every Kathleen Carrillo Artwork purchased, Kathleen donates and gives back to her community to those less fortunate in one form or another.
Kathleen’s most recent donation is 10 original paintings to Pasitos de Luz which is a program that has created a home making a difference for under privileged handicapped children. Casa Connors is a rehabilitation center for these children with disabilities. These paintings will be used to create prints that will be sold at a number of benefits to raise funds for this program.
Katheen has always been involved in the empowerment of women through her work. She has done series about it, taught workshops, helped women self discover and heal through the creative process. She has donated her time her energy and her funds to support many groups that help women grow and heal.
Kathleen is now donating a percentage of all sales to groups that are involved in teaching women to be self sufficient, entrepreneurial, and empowered after life accidents, such as abuse, rape and loss.
She is passionate about the empowerment of the feminine energy and feels that the world would be more balanced with women in pivotal power positions such as corporate, political and business arenas.
INVEST TOURS provides an opportunity for women to work in their homes and small communities. They develop creative skills and expression, by designing and producing various handicraft and food items, many made from recycled materials. They learn to support their families through their own talents, while empowering their lives. Investours creates the connection for tourists to discover and support these budding businesses.
