Passion Dancers Paintings
My Passion Dancers Paintings Collection began with a commission tango piece I created for a couple that did competition dancing. As time passed I started creating more of these paintings not for someone, but about relationships.
Tango Story
The tango is a very passionate dance that started at the docks in Argentina. When the sailors would come in after a long time at see, the women prostitutes would be waiting for them at the docks to dance with them. There is a violence and a pure love and surrender that exists in this beautiful dance. When I was working through a relationship coming to an end, I realized this dance was a metaphor for life. it is a combination of love and hate, Push and Pull against each other. There is such a beautiful combination of body language poses that exist in the Tango and I love working on poses that are extremely unusual for my compositions. There are a few paintings available in original and some in open edition prints
