My Art Prints Paris Bistros,  France is inspired by my travels taken to Magical Places across the globe.   “The Ladies Cocktail Hour” is a charming scene at the famous Le Deux Magot’s Bistro on the Champs Elyssees, the famous and most adored Avenue in all of Paris.  This famous little Bistro, Le Deux Magots, one of many Paris Bistros, is frequented by Friends and Divas,  for the Ladies Cocktail Hour on a regular basis.  Walk by anytime night or day and check out the array of characters spending a leisure time in this famous place to see and be seen!

The story behind the Architectural Whimsy Collection:  I was visiting the quaint village of St. Paul de Vence in the south of France after teaching a workshop, and as I was walking down the stone staircase, I looked out over the village and noticed that they were leaning or tilting with age.  I was inspired to paint them as they looked, then sold the works immediately.  The rest is history. These travel art prints are one of the most popular collections that I create.  They are now, much more about my feelings of magic, visiting these charming places, Paris Bistros, in the quiet corners of France, Italy and Mexico, rather than what I actually visualized on that special day.  They sway and sing, talk and dance in their Architectural whimsy contortions.

As I developed this series it came to my attention that everyone has that special attachment to their memories, from their travels, of these magical places and would love to have travel art prints to hang in their home.  I love my favorite art prints and paintings hanging in my kitchen and living room.  Every time I pass them, it reminds me of that special moment in a magical place I have been.

Each painting that is chosen for a limited edition print is scanned and then digitally produced, archived and available to utilize for your order. The high-quality canvas provides a consistent surface that allows for an incredibly intense range of colors and depth. Once Kathleen receives your ordered print from her manufacturer, she personally hand paints the print with her fine art acrylics, enhances it with gel medium for texture and then finishes it with a final coat of acrylic finish varnish. It is then signed and numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Kathleen is also offering a selection of her works to be made available as open-edition canvas prints using the finest epson inks available. All of her fine art prints are designed to last a lifetime without fading, as long as they are not hung in direct sunlight. Each open-edition print is varnished for intensity of color and protection of surface. Open Edition prints are produced smaller than the Limited edition prints and the limited edition prints are smaller than the originals by about 20-30%.
