My St Paul DeVence Fine Art Print, is a charming depiction of this village in France and is inspired by the travels that I  have taken to Magical Places across the globe. “The Village of St. Paul De Vence” was a favorite spot for artists, writers, musicians, all of whom spent hours day after day discussing life, laughter, and the sign of the times, surrounded by this medieval town precariously perched above the most beautiful vistas. No wonder they loved it so much and were so inspired. I know it inspired me. It was the very first of this collection. You can visit it today and see gallery after gallery of amazing artist’s works. I was visiting the quaint village of St. Paul de Vence in the south of France after teaching a workshop, and as I was walking down the stone staircase, I looked out over the village and noticed that they were leaning or tilting with age.  I was inspired to paint them as they were and sold the works immediately.  The rest is history.  This collection is now much more about my feelings of magic visiting these charming places in the quiet corners of Italy and France rather than what I actually saw.  They sway and sing, talk and dance in their whimsical contortions.

As I developed this series it came to my attention that everyone has that special attachment to their memories, from their travels,  of these magical places. I love my favorite pieces hanging in my kitchen and living room.  Every time I pass them, it reminds me of that special moment from travels to a magical place.
