Ah, Traveling….  What is more thrilling than traveling to new and wondrous places?  Not a lot I say!  I guess the one thing that tops this is the ability to love without constraints.

As a working artist, constantly considering the next creation, I can honestly say that it is not in my nature to think small.  I may not have a lot of money saved in the bank, but I have experiences and memories in my memory bank that always fill my imagination and support new ways of expressing the next inspiration!  It fills my body, mind and spirit to know that I will be visiting other magical places that will soon show up in some small or very large way on my canvases.

If an artist, or student of life does not take the time to reflect and experience in new ways, they begin to shrink in their perspective of life.

POSITANO, ITALY ON THE AMALFI COAST 2018 WORKSHOP

So for my own journey, I work intensely for a week teaching my group of amazing students, and then I explore for my own souls growth!  I will be traveling to new and exotic places this year.  My first stop after our week long workshop will be Barcelona, Spain.  I will spend two additional months working my way around the coast of Spain, down into Casablanca, Marrakesh, and Tangiers in Morocco, up along the Portugal coast and finally over to Bilbao and the amazing museum there. It will be a whirlwind affair.

I can certainly tell you that I have visions of sugar plums dancing in my imagination.  The new and unknown is such a thrill, that my thoughts get carried away!

So as you can see, traveling is life’s requirement if you are seriously wanting to expand your abilities to create magic in some way!
