Living in a third world country is paradise for an artist. Artist’s need a lot of isolation and time to clear their minds. Since this pandemic, it has given me permission to be a hermit. I have done a large number of paintings that have a significant meaning. How lucky I am to have discovered a way to make the most of this time of simplicity. Living in, and being surrounded by nature is another way to make the most of enhancing your creativity. It could be the desert, the forest, a park, the ocean, the snow. Connect with the earth in some way and find the secrets in your head. Take a walk alone. It helps.
Kathleen has her masters degree in fine art specializing in painting and printmaking, from the University of Oklahoma. She has been painting for over thirty years, and has national and international acclaim. Her works are found in public and private collections throughout the world and she has won awards too numerous to mention.
